Circuit for Life
This workshop offers fantastic opportunities to develop coordination, strength, fitness, teamwork and personal confidence.
The workshop is based around a children’s physical training circuit which includes a series of static exercise stations done in a circular like fashion encouraging children to attempt every exercise.
With its wide range of challenges, ‘Circuit for Life’ provides lots of variations and encourages pupils to assess themselves and learn from others.
‘Circuit for Life’ is a very popular programme amongst pupils and again, produces a whole school impact which is both rewarding and manageable.

Fantastic new opportunities for support staff at primary schools to use the ‘Circuit for Life’ workshop.
‘Circuit for Life’ is a whole term, highly-motivational, sustainable fitness and educational programme, which supports your school PSHE policy.
The scheme of work provides progression and development through key stage 1 and 2 whilst addressing the 4 core strands of the National Curriculum relating to Physical Education.
‘Circuit for Life’ is both manageable and provides support staff with an opportunity to monitor and record pupil’s progress. Furthermore, the project offers wide ranging scope for cross curricular activity in the classroom, linking in to English, Design and Technology, and Mathematics.
Support staff attend a single half day training where they work with our training director. They are shown how to roll out the scheme of work and how to
manage the input with pupils.
Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate of competence is issued and a full ‘Circuit for Life’ resource pack delivered.
The course is both challenging and rewarding. It offers a unique insight into the techniques used by the Freddy Fit project in delivering high quality schemes of work to primary school children, giving whole school impact and personal satisfaction to support staff. | |
